Brief History

Regular Franciscan Tertiary Sisters {RFTS} is one of the international congregations in Roman Catholic Church. Mary Matha English medium school was started in 1989 by congregation of Regular Franciscan Tertiary Sisters. It was established for the benefit of the children of Thullur and neighbouring extensions.

The school aim at achieving excellence in every aspects of educational activity spiritual, natural, academic, social and physical thus assuring total development of human person. The school imports sound education to the young so as to enable them to find their proper place in society in later life.

The school is run as MARY MATHA ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL to prepare students to the CBSE board examinations, held by central board of education; the school has co- education. The medium of instruction is English.
